Pastor Keion Henderson and The LightHouse Church Introduce a New Way of Fellowship

(The LightHouse Church Held a Private Screening of the movie Son of God)

On Thursday, February 27, 2014, Pastor Keion Henderson and The LightHouse Church family hosted a private screening of the critical acclaimed movie, The Son of God, at 7:00 PM CST at AMC Deerbrook 24 in Humble, Texas.

Pastor Keion along with his LightHouse Church openly invited anyone who wanted to come to this all-exclusive private screening.  He mixed fellowship with an activity that most of us love to do while making sure people left with a visual message to go with his Sunday sermons.

“What better way to bring people together with something that they love to do, which is go to the movies with getting the message I’ve been preaching,” said Pastor Keion.

The event was a success.  There were many people who came out to support Pastor Keion with his modern way of fellowship.  They not only left with a deeper message of how much Jesus sacrificed for us but also with understanding the need to come together as brothers and sisters of Christ.

The Son of God was an amazing film!  It gave me a different perspective of the story of Christ and his resurrection,” said Finesse Vice, an attendee for the private screening.  “Seeing Jesus have someone help him carry his cross reminded me that I need my sisters and brothers in Christ sometimes to help with my burdens and that it’s okay to receive help.”

In spite of all the Jesus films that have been produced in the past years, Pastor Keion still felt that it was important for everyone to see this movie and hopefully leave with a new appreciation for Christ and a stronger relationship.

“One thing that I hope people gain from this movie is salvation,” said Pastor Keion.

Stop by The LightHouse Church, 14000 Weckford Blvd, Houston, Texas 77044, for Sunday worship at either 9:00AM or 10:30AM or visit for further information.
